SCUBA Diving Sidney

Sidney takes some time out from her busy schedule with College Midterms, OQHA Queen responsibilities, IHSA Team Regionals, SidneyHawkEquine.com development, and having fun being a teenager for just 30 more days to vacation with her family.

Here is Sidney in Q. Roo, Mexico, Cozumel to us vacationers. Our friend for 30+ years, dive Instructor and owner of Diving Adventures in Cozumel, Felipe Roma, giving Sidney a beginner's course in how to SCUBA dive. Sizing her up with a wet suit and teaching her the fundamentals of basic breathing and equipment operation.

Later we all jump in his dive boat and head to the south end of the island to a beautiful white sand area of the island shoreline, where they went over more details of diving and then eventually... down she went for probably a 40-minute dive experience loaded with all kinds of tropical fish and lots of sting rays and eventually about a 5-foot manta ray.
