You can take the girl out of the country, but you cannot take the horse away from the girl. We managed to visit a couple of horse ranches in Cozumel, chat with the operators about nutrition and health care of the horses on an island that has literally no pasture but are fed a diet of grass weeds cut down and given to them in place of hay.

Couldn't just look, had to take a couple for a spin with her mom and a guide. They road through the jungles and down to the shoreline and into the ocean.
