Sidney Hawk Equine

Sidney Hawk is a skilled world title holder with her horse Zippos Blu Sky in International Mountain Trail competitions. During her time showing YEDA, she was awarded National Champion as a Senior Diamond Reinier competing at the Nationals in Tennessee using unfamiliar horses provided for her via a lottery drawing in the competition.

Sidney has won countless other top earnings at shows like "Quarter Horse Congress", "All American Youth Horse Show", "4-H", (county and state level) "CORHA", (Central Ohio Reining Horse Association), Won the Versatile Horse and Rider competition at the "Equine Affair" and many others.

Sidney is a student at "The University of Findlay" with a dual major in Western Equine Studies and Equine Business management with a minor in Marketing. She rides for their IHSA, Intercollegiate Horse Shows as an Open Reiner and for Open Horsemanship.

Sidney has been developing many new skills at Findlay including Colt breaking and working with Green Horses.

For the past few years, Sidney has been competing on her personally trained horse Tj Smokin Silverado. Now a successful Reining Horse Tj helped Sidney qualify to compete at the "Run for a Million" event in Las Vegas for 2023.

Sidney is probably best known for her willingness to give a helping hand to anyone struggling with little issues they might be having on their own horses. She's learned so many work arounds from time spent on her own horses and training from other horse professionals.

Look for links on the main site page to follow Sidney as 2024 Ohio Quarter Horse Queen and as a candidate for the 2025 American Quarter Horse Congress Queen.

If you follow back through Sidney's history via her "YouTube" Channel, SidneyHawkEquine, you will see a young girl who has pretty well dedicated her life to equine studies, horsemanship, working with youth and their horses and other animals. You could find her at nursing homes with her minis or at the fair assisting with mini horse shows, mini obstacle events and mini horse showing as well.

Sidney, along with our help, recued a Clydesdale from the Sugarcreek Kill Pen auction when she was much younger and the next year, a tiny mini, who still lives here on the farm... Peanut. Can't wait to see what's next.
